Bonding Mortar
I. Product Overview:
Bonding mortar is specifically designed for polystyrene foam insulation boards (EPS) and extruded polystyrene boards (XPS). It is a cement-based, polymer-modified adhesive material used for bonding these types of thermal insulation materials to interior and exterior walls, floors, and roofs. Featuring high adhesion performance, plastic deformation elasticity, and excellent water resistance, it also boasts long-term anti-aging and weather-resistant properties that match the lifespan of the building itself.
II. Product Features:
1) High in strength, it can achieve excellent adhesion to all base walls with load-bearing capacity and properly pre-treated surfaces, as well as to various types of insulation boards as required.
2) Excellent freeze-thaw resistance ensures long-term bonding performance.
3) Waterproof and breathable, it can be applied to substrate walls made of various materials, whether damp or dry.
4) Excellent performance, with good workability and ease of handling, long open time, and outstanding slip resistance.
5) Non-toxic, environmentally friendly, safe, and reliable.

IV. Construction Process:
1) The condition of the base wall:
The base wall must be smooth, solid, clean, and dry. Loose layers of paint and plaster on the base wall surface should be removed. Newly applied plaster layers can only be used after they have dried and fully hardened.
2) Construction of the material:
Use a trowel to spread the bonding mortar evenly onto the insulation board, then gently press and smooth the board upward from bottom to top onto the base wall surface. Ensure the board is perfectly flat, with all seams tightly compressed to eliminate any gaps. Finally, use a 2-meter straightedge to check for evenness, making sure there’s no adhesive remaining between the board joints.
Pasting method: Apply edge-to-edge or strip-by-strip, ensuring the pasting area covers at least 80% of the entire board's surface.
Important Notes:
The construction environment and the temperature of the base wall must not fall below 5°C, and wind conditions should be at Level 5 or lower. Avoid construction on rainy days.
When applying the insulation boards, press and rub evenly—do not tap or vibrate them.
Within 48 hours after pasting is completed, the next construction process must not be carried out. At the same time, avoid touching, knocking, or causing vibrations. If wind speeds exceed level 5 or rain occurs, protective measures should be implemented.
V. Important Notes:
1) The construction environment and the temperature of the base wall must not fall below 5°C, and wind conditions should be at Level 5 or lower. Avoid construction on rainy days.
2) Within 24 hours after construction is completed, the next work procedure must not be carried out. Additionally, avoid rainwater runoff and impacts during this period.
6. Packaging and Storage:
1. This product is packaged in a kraft paper bag with an inner polyethylene liner, 50 kg per bag.
2. Please do not store outdoors to prevent moisture damage.
