    6. Construction technology:

    1) Grassroots treatment: First, clean the substrate, which is required to be clean and flat.

    2) Stirring:

    Add dry powder and water to the container, stir evenly with a special tool, let it stand for 5 minutes, and then stir again. The dry putty powder adds 30% of the water. Feeding sequence: add water first and then feed.

    3) Scratching of putty:

    Scrape is a method of scraping putty with a trowel, scraper or putty knife. The main points of squeegee are solid, flat and light. That is, the putty is in close contact with the base layer, the bonding is firm, and the surface is smooth and flat to reduce the workload of polishing. When the base layer is highly absorbent, it should be sealed with a primer before scraping the putty to prevent the moisture and rubber in the putty from being excessively absorbed by the base layer and affecting the adhesion of the putty.

    Grasp the inclination of the tool when scraping and apply evenly to ensure that the putty is full.

    In order to avoid the putty from shrinking too much, cracking and falling off, do not scrape too thick in one batch. According to the characteristics of different putty, the thickness should be 0.5~1.0mm.

    Do not scrape back and forth too much to avoid curling or squeeze out the rubber in the putty to seal the surface so that it is not easy to dry.

    Choose appropriate putty and scraping tools according to the performance of the coating and the condition of the base layer. When filling the cavities and cracks in the base layer with a putty knife, press the blade with your index finger and press the putty into the defect with force. It should be filled and firm, and the surrounding putty should be scraped clean to minimize the traces of the putty.

    4) Polishing of putty:

    Grinding refers to the process of grinding the surface of the coated object with abrasive materials. It has a great influence on the smoothness, adhesion, corners and lines of the base layer. To achieve the desired effect of polishing, appropriate polishing methods and tools must be selected according to the quality requirements of different processes.

    Sanding must be done after the base layer or putty is dry, so as not to adhere to the sandpaper and affect the operation.

    The base layer and putty that are not resistant to water cannot be wet-grinded.

    The thickness of sandpaper should be determined according to the hardness of the surface to be ground. Thick sandpaper will produce sand marks, which will affect the final decorative effect of the coating.

    For manual sanding, wrap the sandpaper (cloth) on the sanding pad and push the pad with repetitive force. Do not use one or two fingers to press the sandpaper to sand, so as not to affect the smoothness of sanding. For mechanical polishing, an electric grinder is commonly used. The sandpaper is clamped on the grinder and gently pushed on the base level. It is strictly forbidden to press hard to avoid overload and damage of the motor.

    Check the flatness of the base layer. Under the side light, there is no obvious unevenness and scratch marks, no rough feeling, and a smooth surface is qualified.
